I have been lucky enough to shoot another wedding at one of Elegant's more exclusive hotels called the House, it is very small and kind of looks like a castle from the outside. It also has a small mote (well two ponds at the front) and the entrance is light up with several fire torches. Through the main gates there is a beautiful Garden with ponds and a load of outside sofas where you can sit and relax, you then walk through the dining room and then you are pretty much directly on the beach.
After my shoot on Monday i was very keen to continue using my different light modifiers and as the gardens and the gazebo where sheltered from the wind i was able to use my little umbrella with out having to worry about it falling over.
This is my favorite shot of the wedding, the sun over here in Barbados is so much stronger then back in the UK as we are closer to the equator and there is not as much pollution so the light does not get defused quite so much. When you shoot on a beach it sometimes feels like you can be fighting the sun but really what i want to be able to do is use it as another light source.
